Biography
Mary MacLeod was born about 1792 in Virginia. She married She married Nehemiah Nox (Knox) (1795–1817) in Gallia, Ohio on 25 Apr 1813. He died in 1817. They had no children. She married Abram Cline in 1819, also in Ohio. They had the following children: George Washington Cline 1821–1907, Joseph John William Cline 1822–1909, Edward Matthias Cline 1827–1921, Nancy Jane Cline Coldwell1830–1922, Norman Lawrence Cline 1831–1911, Philena Cline Petty 1834-1908, Abram Cline 1835-1887, Irena Cline Johnson 1837-1908, and William Cline1843-.
Mary died 3 May 1876 in Boone, Iowa at age 84, and was buried in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Boone County.
Note: Her parents may be Norman Macleod McLeod (1766-1853) and Mary Ann Humphries (1765-1843). More research required.
