She was a slave held by Joseph François (Lapice de Bergondy) Lapice in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. She was among a group of 71 slaves sold at Pointe Coupee, False River Island, Louisiana on Tuesday, Jan 3, 1860. The names of the slaves to be sold were shown in an inventory published on November 12, 1859.
