Biography

Crawford Page Baird was born on 8 January 1870 in Belmont, Colchester, Nova Scotia. He was the son of James W Baird and Ester or Esther Wilson. He married Isabella McCully in 1892 in Turo, Colchester, Nova Scotia. Their children were Edison born 1894; Maggie, Raymond, Nettie, Lloyd, Frank and Max born 1911. They farmed near Onslow, Colchester, N.S. Isabella died in 1950. Crawford passed away in April 1957 in Onslow and was buried in Onslow Cemetery, Upper Onslow, Colchesther, Nova Scotia.
