Biography

Cpl Adam Tarwater served in the United States Civil War.

Adam was born in 1832. His parents were William Tarwater and Judy Tarwater.[1] He married Martha E French, on 13 Aug 1855. They moved to Missouri and had a son.[2] He served as a corporal in Company H of the 31st Regiment, Missouri Infantry, United States Civil War.[3] He died during the Vicksburg Campaign in 1863. He is buried at the Vicksburg National Cemetery, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
