Biography
Maria Rosalia Martinez was born circa 1740 in the Kingdom of Mexico, Viceroyalty of New Spain. in 1760, in La Villa de San Fernando de Béxar, Provincia de Tejas, Nueva España (modern day San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas), Maria married José Manuel Ramón was born about 1732, in Punto de Lampasos, Nuevo León, México, a son of Miguel Ramón. Maria and José Manuel became the parents of as many as ten children. [1]
José Manuel Ramón died September 24, 1792, and is buried in the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Maria Rosalia Martinez survived her husband and passed away in 1823.
