George was born George Warwick on 9 November 1860 ^[1] Marishes, Thornton Dale, Yorkshire ^[2] & baptised George Warwick on 9 December 1860 Thornton Dale, Yorkshire the son of George Warwick (farmer) & Hannah [Ireland] of Thornton, Marishes. ^[3]

With siblings & parents in 1871 living in Newshead Grange, Marishes, Thornton Dale, Yorkshire.^[4]

The marriage of George Warwick (full) (bachelor) (joiner) [of Kirby Underdale] & Hannah Norton (full) (spinster) [of Kirby Underdale] was conducted on 20 March 1895, Kirby Underdale, Yorkshire. Father of bride & groom noted as James Norton (farmer) & George Warwick (farmer). ^[5]
