Edna (16) married Charles Emory Oakes (31) (born on January 23, 1863 in Union Township, Warren, Iowa, United States; son of Abraham Oakes and Syntha Ann (Batten) Oakes) in 1895 in Kansas. Their children were:

- John Everett Oakes (1901–1982)
Edna died in 1937 in Drew, Arkansas, United States, aged 58. She was buried in Union Ridge Cemetery #1, Monticello, Drew County, Arkansas.[1]
