Jesse G. Voss was born on January 22, 1882 in Arkansas, United States, son of Elihu Davis Voss (~1847–1918) and Camilla Fredonia Pennington (1850–1904).^[1]

Jesse (20) married Ada Bell Burch (18) (born on April 13, 1884 in Dallas County, Arkansas; daughter of John Fields Burch and Lucretia Lucinda West) on September 9, 1902 in Clark County, Arkansas, USA. Their daughter was Erma Sylvester Vesta Voss (1918–1991).

Jesse died on September 27, 1949 in Malvern, Hot Spring, Arkansas, aged 67.^[1]
