In the 1900 census[2] taken on 7 Jun 1900 Emma was living with her parents in Scandia Township, Republic County, Kansas. Note: The boys appear on FamilySearch in records of their own due to Iver's name being transcribed as Kollen.

In the 1940 census[8] taken 10 Apr 1940 they are still living on Fillmore street in Denver, Colorado. Again no employment data for George. Was he receiving a pension for his service? Glenn's initial was transcribed as J but it's actually a V. (Compare with the J on line 11.)
