Biography

1860 census in the household of A J Wooley in Perry County, Alabama. Age listed as one month old when census was taken in June 1860. ^[1]

1870 US Census listed in household of A G Wolly with name of Mary, age 9. ^[2]

28 Jun 1878 William married Mary O Wooley in Bibb County, Alabama. ^[3]

1880 census. William and Mary appeared as a couple for the first time with their oldest child, Otha, from whom the Profile Manager, [Funderburg-176 | Noah Funderburg] is descended. ^[4]

1900 census. William is listed as Will (indexes incorrectly show this as Wilt) and Olivia is named Lizzie (further evidence that she went by her middle name.). They are listed with their children Other, Vanny, Georgia, Matthew, Collier (index changed that to Allen) Willie, and Saliie. ^[5]

1910 census. William is listed with his wife's name given as Olivia, which clarifies Mary's middle name since prior records only give her middle initial as "O." Four children are listed: Collier, Willie, Sallie and Vassor. ^[6]

1930 census of William and Mary living in the Brookwood community in Tuscalosoa County, Alabama. ^[7]
