French Parent of Nouvelle-France Pioneer

Anne Cussin or Cuisin and her husband Nicolas Fuger or Fugère were the parents of Nouvelle-France pioneer Aimé or Edmé Fugère dit Champagne. ^{[1] [2]}

The birth of their son Aimé at Troyes in Champagne around 1705 places their marriage at before that date, and their presumed dates of birth as being before about 1685.^[1][2]

Their son Aimé Fugère (sometimes spelled as Fougère) married Thérèse Leriche at Repentigny in Nouvelle-France on 17 Sep 1736, by which date Aimé's father was noted as deceased and his mother Anne Cuisin not - placing their deaths as before and after that date respectively. His origin listed on the record was PAROISSE DE PONTOISE, EVECHE DE TROIE EN CHAMPAGNE. His parents listed on his marriage record were Nicolas Fuger (deceased), and Anne Cuisin.^[1][2][3]
