Biography

Lethal Holly (Davis) Hill was born on 12 August 1904 in Mulberry, Crawford County, Arkansas. She passed away in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 14 Mar 1942 and was buried in the Willis Cemetery, Greenfield, Arkansas.^[1][2][3]

1910 Census: Letha Davis is living with her parents, Charlie (27) and Haley (24) Davis, in the Whitley Township of Crawford County, Arkansas. The record reflects that Letha was 5 years old and born in Arkansas. Also residing in the home were Letha's siblings Mark (4) and Jennie (2).^[4]

1930 Census: Leathay Hill and her husband Emmet Hill (35) are living in Heber Springs, Arkansas with their children Martha (8), Rody (6), Junior J (4), and Jane (2). The record notes that Leathay was 26, born in Arkansas, and that she was 16 when she married Emmet.^[5]
