Biography
CHRISTIAN HOUTZ, son of Henry Houtz and Maria Barbara Dups·,was born in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania 19th of March, 1775., baptized at Klopps Church, Hamlin, Pennsylvania. He married Anna Elizabeth Zeller August 10, 1802. They had 9 children. She died September 28,1822. He Married 2nd on May 10, 1825, Catherine Zeller, A sister of his first wife. She died September 2, 1825. Christian died August 3, 1852 abd was buried in the Weiser cemetary at Selins Grove.
