Biography
Humphrey Ferrers was listed in Tamworth, Staffordshire, in 1532 with his wife Margaret and children John and Dorothy.[1]
Humphrey Ferrers was knighted at the coronation of Queen Anne Boleyn on 1 June 1533.[2]
On 24 October 1534 Sir Humphrey Ferrers was granted livery of lands in Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Essex and Shropshire by Henry VIII as son and heir of Sir John Ferrers, including the dowry assigned to Dorothy Ferrers, his late wife.[3]
