Youngest of Baker children. Grew up in Lincoln, RI and went to high school at Hope High School, Providence R.I. Met wife Carol Tomlinson in Middle school and dated from Jr. High School, High School and college. Married January 27, 1968 in senior year of college. Graduated from University of Rhode Island in 1968. Received MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Hartford Graduate Center) IN 1979.
