Descendents oh Hans Ulrich Swingle are looking for someone to create a page dedicated to his history and lineage. Apparently the webmaster of the previous page has/had health issues and did not pass the page password forward. My father Alvah Rufus McLaughlin Jr. was an active student of J.U.S. and contributed many details including the photo of his baptism record in Hulben.

Hi Mary Ryan; Hans is a descendant of mine. I can appreciate your think on this merger the problem being is the sources of the profile content. I agree these are the same man's profile but what should the finial profile look like. Glenn rejected the proposal last time you made it. I forward your email to him just incase he has some type of reservation on the proposed merger. In the meantime I think even though you are using Find A Grave as you source we don't know that the Find A grave info is accurate. The Swingle name has been researched and contributed by so many people over time the record is not clear. If you would like to work to clear these unknowns and address the accurateness, I would like to work with you to make the record as accurate as possible.

Hi I'm Mary Ryan. Hans was my 4th ggrandfather. It looks like your information is very similar to what I know. I have his birth in Hulben, but you show a different town with his baptisim in Hulben. How did you get his birth town?

Swingle-11 and Schwenkel-5 appear to represent the same person because: I show is father and on back with the name Schwenkel, but when he came to America, it was changed to Swingle. The birth dates, place of birth, etc appear close. I got this information from a hand written tree done by my Aunt Aliene Swingle
