Hi Debbie! Bernhard Roeber is my German Great grandfather whom I barely remember. If you need help with translation of German, let me know as I am fluent in it :) While I'm thinking about it, my clan of the family hailed from the Schleswig-Holstein area around Schladen and Goslar. I don't recall any family stories about any of them leaving for the US; my mother did and it was considered almost sacrilege lol. Anyhow, let me know if you need help!
