She married Condra Walter Johns 16 November 1919 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida[4].

In 1920 she lived with her cousin Myrtie Gordon Kite and her family in Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida. Her husband's whereabouts are unknown at this time[5].
She and Condra's daughter Eloise died in 1929 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident[6].
They lived in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida in 1930 with their children Lloyd and Louise[7].
Their daughter Louise died in 1931 from a cerebral hemorrhage[8].
They lived in Duval County, Florida in 1935[9]. They were still in Jacksonville in 1940 with their children Lois, Margaret, Morris, Erma Jean, Geraldine, and Condra's mother Martha Johns[10]. They appear on the 1945 Florida State Census in Jacksonville[11].
She died 1 July 1974 in Orange County, Florida[12][13] and was buried in Sapp Cemetery, Raiford, Union County, Florida[1].
