Nathan, son of Samuel and Mercy (Ford) Thomas, was born on 21 November 1688 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.[1]
Nathan Thomas first married Alice Baker, daughter of Kenelm and Sarah (Bradford) Baker, on 4 March 1713 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.[2] She died there on June 14, 1715 at the age of 25 years. She is buried at Old Winslow Burying Ground. There was no issue.
Nathan Thomas married second Abiah Snow, daughter of Josiah and Rebecca (Barker) Snow, on 2 January 1717 in Marshfield, Massachusetts.[3] Abiah died there on February 1, 1717/18. She is buried at Old Winslow Burying Ground. There was no issue.
Nathan's third marriage was to Sarah (Foster) Bartlett, widow of William Bartlett and daughter of John and Hannah (Stetson) Foster. They married on 17 June 1719 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.[4]
Nathan died at Marshfield on November 3, 1741 at the age of 53 years.[5] He is buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, with a death date of 3 November 1741.[6]
Probate
Nathan died intestate and on 6 May 1742, his widow Sarah was granted the administration of his estate.[7]
His inventory was taken on 7 May 1742 in Marshfield.[8]
In 1743, his widow Sarah presented to the probate court, his debts and estate charges.[9]
