Biography

Corporal Bond Little, Sr. is the son of Thomas Little and Mary (Bond) Little. Appears on the muster roll of Capt Ninan Aiken's Company in Col Daniel Moore's Regiment of Militia. Bond Little, private, was one of the men who marched from Deering to Ackworth for the assistance of the American Army at Fort Ticonderoga on the first of July 1777 and returned on the 3rd of the same month.

A payroll of Capt William Boyes's company of volunteers in Col Kelly's Regiment in the expedition to Rhode Island Aug 1778 shows that Bond Little served as Corporal, date of the enlistment Aug 7, 1778, date of discharge Aug 27, 1778. Time of service 23 days, 2 days travel.

On March 16, 1762, in Hampstead, Rockingham, New Hampshire, Bond married Ruth Atwood, the daughter of John Atwood and Abigail (Sanders) Atwood.
