Biography

Sharon was born in 1940. She is the daughter of Donald Mulry and Florence Weldon Mulry.

Sharon died from complications of breast cancer.

Sharon was born on November 25, 1940 and passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.

Sharon was a resident of Moline, Illinois at the time of her passing.

She was married to Ronald.

Memorial services will be 5:00 pm Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline IL. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum East Moline.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Mrs. Nagel died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon Mulry was born November 25, 1940, in Madison, WI, the daughter of William and Florence Weldon Mulry. She married Ronald J. Nagel December 27, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. He died July 10, 2007. She retired from Montgomery Wards South Park, Moline. She then worked at Sam's Club, Davenport. Sharon enjoyed cooking, baking, and doing crafts. The Christmas season was her favorite time of year. Survivors include her children, Ronda (Bill) Gramling, East Moline, Jody (Tami) Nagel, Port Byron, IL, and Annette (Thom) Bollaert, Mead, WA; grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Gramling, Eric, Alex, and Tanner Nagel, Chelsey (Briar) Black, Brennan, Emily, and Noah Bollaert; great grandchildren, Ethan, Alexis, and Michael; siblings, Kathy Spencer, Milan, IL, Carol (Dick) Estes, Modesto, CA, Patricia (Gary) Garrett, Corpus Christi, TX, Johnny (Marti) Thomas, San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Jerry and Dennis Mulry. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Timothy's House of Hope 1407 West 4th Street Davenport, Iowa 52802. ^[1]

It has been suggested by Sharion's father (Don Mulry) that her grandmother's second husband George Holmes was her biological father, but DNA evidence from her granddaughter, Chelsey Black confirms that William Donald Mulry was her biological father.
