Biography

William Hawkins Ball, the son of Benjamin Ball and Elizabeth Hawkins, was born about 1794.

William Hawkins Ball was the eldest son of Benjamin Ball of Dublin and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of the Reverend James Hawkins, Bishop of Raphoe.

William Hawkins Ball died on 22 March 1864 at Dublin, Ireland.

He was buried at Kilchreest Cemetery, Ballynacally, County Clare, Ireland.[1]

BALL William Hawkins. 28 April. The will of William Hawkins Ball late of Fort Fergus in the county of Clare Major in the Army deceased who died 22 March 1864 at Cullenswood-avenue in the County of Dublin was proved at the Principal Registry by the oaths of John De Montmorency of Castle Morris Knocktopher in the County of Kilkenny Esquire Major the Honorable Thomas O'Grady of No.63 Saint George's-square Pimlico in the County of Middlesex and the Honorable Julia Ball of Fort Fergus aforesaid Widow three of the executors. Effects under £12,000. Resworn at Ennis 18th August 1886 under £14,000. [3]
