Biography

Antonino Bordonaro is born and baptized on 16 February 1827, named after his maternal grandfather. He is the son of Maestro Giuseppe Bordonaro and Giuseppa Cascio. His godparents are Don Bernardo Amari and his maternal aunt Vita lo Cascio, who are not married.

His godmother dies that September at age seventeen.

Antonino dies, reportedly at age nine (he is ten) on 14 July 1837, at the height of the first recorded cholera outbreak in western Europe.
