William Edward Bishop was born on 5 Aug 1830 in Baltimore, Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick, son of Silas Bishop (1801–1886) and Sarah Ann Scott (1801–1854).

His siblings were:

William (20) married Mary Steeves (23) (born on 19 May 1827 in New Brunswick; daughter of Caleb King Steeves and Emeline (Berton) Steeves) on 16 Jan 1851 in Albert.

In 1851, William Edward, farmer, 20 and Mary, 23, were residing with William’s parents in Hillsborough, Albert Co., New Brunswick.[1]

In 1861, William Edward, farmer, 34, Mary, 31, Caleb, 7 and Emeline, 3 were residing in Hillsborough, Albert Co., New Brunswick.[2]

In 1871, William E., farmer, 44, Mary, 41, Caleb, 17, Emma, 12 and William H. 8 were residing in Hillsborough, Albert Co., New Brunswick.[3]

William died on 22 Sep 1898 in Baltimore and is buried in the Baltimore United Baptist Cemetery, Baltimore, Albert Co., New Brunswick, Canada [4]
