Iefan ab Owain Ap Gwynedd[1] had a daughter named Gwenllian.[2]
Research Notes
This profile is attached as "son of Owain Gwynedd (the king of Gwynedd between 1137–1170),"[2] but Iefan is currently (20 April 2022) listed on Owain's profile as a disputed child.
Cristina ferch Gronw was detached as his mother - she was born c1120, which is not compatible with Iefan's birth year of 1128.
While the Wikipedia article for Owain lists Iefan as a son, it does not name his mother, nor give any sources for him, and the linked Wikipedia article for Iefan has a warning that it has no sources.[2]
The list of Owain's children in the article, introduced with a qualifier ("said to have had") - "Altogether, the prolific Owain Gwynedd is said to have had the following children from two wives and at least four mistresses" - notes only Rhodi and Dafydd as children of Cristina, Owain's second wife.[2]
