Wilma Susan Abbe (26 Dec 1875 Marion, Linn, Iowa^[1] - Jul 1968 Reinbeck, Grundy, Iowa) was the daughter of Augustus "Gus" Wolcott Abbe (1841–1926) and Cynthia Ann Walker (1841–1887).

On 31 Jan 1894 in Tama, Iowa she married Joseph Mathern^[2] (abt. 1871 Tama, Iowa - 17 Oct 1931 Marshalltown, Iowa) the son of Joseph Franklin, Mathern and Augustus Brecht.
