Marie Marguerite Achen was born and baptized on 14 Jan 1710 in Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue parish of Longueuil, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were François Achin and Marie Madeleine Séguin. Godparents were Charles Marsille and Marguerite Cartier, wife of Noël Supernan. The officiating priest was Franchville.[1]

In the presence of known witnesses Jean Baptiste Lamoureux, Joseph Lamoureux, Pierre Lamoureux, Michel Lamoureux, François Gareau, Pierre Dullude, Jean Baptiste Chaperon, François Achin, Pierre Achin, Antonette Achin, and Étienne St-André. The celebrant priest was J. Ysambart.[2]

Why Margurite's burial act shows her last name as Collier is almost certainly a clerical error made by the parish priest.
