Biography

Lawrence Nicklas Adams was born on March 24, 1926, in Charleston, Franklin County, Arkansas, to his parents, John Thomas Adams and Agnes Annie (VerKamp) Adams. Growing up in Prairie Township, Franklin County, Lawrence experienced the joys and challenges of rural life.

In 1930, he lived in Prairie Township, Franklin County, Arkansas. During the tumultuous years of World War II, Lawrence enlisted in the United States Army on August 4, 1944. He bravely served his country, contributing to the war effort and demonstrating his patriotism.

On September 23, 1949, Lawrence married Lucy Catherine Classen in Franklin County, Arkansas. Their union marked the beginning of a loving and supportive partnership that would last a lifetime.

In 1950, Lawrence owned his own business and worked as a plumber at a retail plumber store in Prairie Township, Franklin County, Arkansas. His entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in plumbing allowed him to thrive in his profession.

Throughout his life, Lawrence Nicklas Adams was known for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his family and community. He was respected for his skills as a plumber and his contributions to the local economy.

Lawrence's journey came to an end on January 15, 1990, in Arkansas. He was laid to rest at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris, Logan County, Arkansas, where his memory lives on in the hearts of his loved ones.
