Biography
Benjamin was born in 1843. He is the son of Abel Adkison.
In 1850, Benj H (age 7) lived in Pocahontas, Virginia with his presumed father Abel and his siblings (Frances, Harriet, George, Sampson, and Jefferson). [1]
Benjamin Helmick "Adkins" married Caroline Celia Hinzman in 1865 in Lewis, West Virginia. [2]
In 1870, Benj H (age 27) lived in New Milton, Doddridge, West Virginia with his presumed wife Caroline and son Enoch. His birthplace was Virginia. [3]
Benjamin died on 8 Feb. 1922 in Upshur, West Virginia. HIs father's name listed on his death register was Able Adkinson; mother name listed as "Unknown". [4]
