John F.W. Ahearn was born December 14, 1861 in Boston, Massachusetts.

According to the Arkansas, County Marriages Index, he married Mary (Reaves) Ahearn in Crawford County, Arkansas on April 10, 1894. His given age is 30 (he would have been abt. 33 according to all other souces), she is 15.

He is the father of Mary (Ahearn) Swatsenbarg, John (Nov. 1899-), Martha, Earl, Arthur. (Information extracted from his wifes 1910 U.S. Federal Census shows that "...Number of Children Born: 8 Number of Children Living: 4...". Son John appears to have passed by then).

"John W. A'Hearn was found deceased shortly after 3:00 a.m. on April 1, 1914 and was buried that same day in the "(O.W.?) A'Hearn Forest". He was 52 years, 3 months and 17 days old. He was a farmer. His father, Morris A'Hearn was born in Ireland. His mother is "unknown" , born in England." ( from his Death Certificate).

NOTE: 1900 United States Federal Census shows Fathers Birthplace as being Massachusetts, Mothers Birthplace is Missouri. 1910 United States Federal Census, Fathers Birthplace: England Mothers Birthplace: England. Death Certificate indicates Father: Morris Ahearn from Ireland; Mother: unknown from England.
