Biography

Jane Ann was born about ( 1854 ? ) Parents being Thomas Alexander and Jane Wallace.

Jane Ann's parents and eldest sister Ellen Alexander, immigrated from Ireland to South Australia in 1848 on the Barque Sea Queen.

The families first place of residence in the colony was at Bowden, they did not live there long and moved to Mount Barker where they resided and farmed the land at " Fairview".

1877 Jane Ann Alexander married Charles Stevens a widower at Blakiston, Mount Barker, South Australia.
