William Henry was the fourth child of Annie Elizabeth (nee Cadd) and Ambrose Peck Alexander. He was born on the 7th of March 1867. At the age of 17 years his father passed away so he was left to manage the family farm which he did for a few years.
In 1892 he was living in the Etiwanda area, his occupation at that time was a bee-keeper.
William married on the 11th of November 1894, Anna Mary Stegmiere. The Stegmiere family lived in the Ontario-Etiwanda area. William and Anna later moved to Colton where Will worked on the Southern Pacific Railroad and back again to San Bernardino where he worked for the Telephone Company.
They had 5 children: 1/ Clarence, 2/William, 3/Ruby, 4/Lewis, 5/Lawrence.
William Henry Alenander died on January 19, 1928 at the age of 62 years after nine days of illness in the Ramona Hospital, San Bernardino. He is buried in the Pioneer Cemetary.
