On 7 Apr 1930 at the time of the 1930 US Census, head of household Willard B. Alford (age 53, born in AR) was employed as a Farmer on a General Farm and living in a home he owned on Military Road in Lone Hill, Arkansas with his wife Ara B. Alford (age 50, born in AR); son Mack W. Alford (age 15, born in AR); son Elton M. Alford (age 11, born in AR); daughter Minnie R. Alford (age 8, born in AR); and widowed mother-in-law Launetta J. Scott (age 76, born in AR). Willard's father was born in Arkansas and his mother in Tennessee. Ara's father was born in Tennessee and her mother in Arkansas. Launetta's father was born in Arkansas and her mother in Kentucky. Willard was first married at age 21; Ara was first married at age 19; Launetta was first married at age 23. ^[2]
