In the 1900 census, Alfred (age 23) was living in Blocton, Alabama. He was a boarder in the household of Mat Bankston. His occupation was a coal miner. Information from the census:
Searched Ancestry, FindAGrave and Family Search, but found only one record. Also I'm not sure the parents are correct because Alfred does not appear in the household of James Benjamin Allen Sr. in the 1880 census. Needs more research - April 19, 2023. Laura W
