Biography

Sarah Emma Allen was born on 7 March 1866 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. She was the daughter of James Sexton Allen and Martha Emma Vickers.

On 17 October 1880, Sarah married Lewis M Kelley in Tallapoosa County. They had two sons, Walter Monroe Kelley and James Rolin Kelley.

She passed away on 13 September 1949 near Farmerville, Union Parish, Louisiana. She is buried at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Downsville, Union Parish.

MRS. SARAH KELLEY

Mrs. Sarah Emma Kelley, 83. died at her home near Farmerville Tuesday. The funeral was held at Mt. Nebo Church, near Downsville Wednesday at 3:50 p.m.

She is survived by the two son, J. R. and W. M. Kelley, both of Downsville.

The Kilpatrick Funeral Home had charge of the interment in Mt. Nebo cemetery.
