Biography

Laura Lee Allison was born on 7 October 1852. She was the daughter of Amos Allison and Delana Butler.

On 21 July 1879, Laura married William Asbury Napoleon Paty in Crawford County, Arkansas. They had four known children: John Peyton, Stella Agnes, Amos Edward, and Annie Ella Paty.

She passed away on 7 May 1937. She is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery and Mortuary, Bakersfield, Kern County, California.

Mrs. Laura Paty of Arvin Is Taken

Mrs. Laura Paty, 87, one of the earliest settlers of the Arvin district, died early today at a local hospital, A native of Atlanta, Ga., she had resided at Arvin for the past 20 years. She leaves two sons. Amos and John Paty, and two daughters, Stella and Anna, all of Arvin.

The body is at Flickinger-Digier chapel, where funeral arrangements were being completed this afternoon.
