Peder Amundson was born at Brekke, Oppheim, Vossestrand, Voss 28 Jun and christened 2 Jul 1826^[1]

Emigrated 15 Apr 1854^[2]

He married Brita Vikingsdotter from Berge (They had emigrated together)

He lived for a short while in Perry, Dane Wisconsin and built his homestead in Gayville South Dakota. After his death his wife remarried.
