Biography
Thomas was born on April 15, 1825 in Sint-Joris-Weert, Belgium. He was the son of Pierre Anciaux and Marie Socquet. He had 10 siblings. He was a farmer and a comedian. He married Marie Eugenie "Geniye" Socquet on June 15, 1848 in Nethen, Belgium. They had 13 children: Honore Jean Phillippe Anciaux, Marie Rosalie "Laliye Cocoye" (Anciaux) Socquet, Honore Jean Phillippe Anciaux, Frederic Anciaux, Victor Anciaux, Julien Joseph Anciaux, Marie Flore Anciaux, Louis Anciaux, Marie Louise Flore Anciaux, Louis Anciaux, Alexis "Lexe Toumapier" Anciaux, Marie Josephe Anciaux, and Marie Alphonsine Anciaux. He passed away on March 13, 1899 in Nethen, Belgium at age 73.
