Biography

Anna Andersdotter was born 13 November and baptized 18 November 1781 in Munktorp, Västmanland, Sweden. She died on 15 March 1819 in Eklunda. Anna lived at Sorby in Munktorp until at least 1784 when her father died. Her mother remarried in 1785, and in 1797 she lived in her stepfather’s household in Eklunda. After her marriage in 1801, she continued to live in her mother’s and stepfather’s household in Eklunda with her husband and children, although the records may indicate they had their own house there in 1809. She died in 1819 at age 37 of “Tvinsot”(consumption.)
