Joseph Apter was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England.

Joseph Apter (1882-1884) was born in 1882 [1] in Wavertree, Lancashire. [2] He was the son of a coal dealer, Edward Salisbury Apter and Janet Scott [3] and he was christened privately on the 24th August 1884 as he was likely ill. The event was recorded in the registers of St Catherine's Church, Edge Hill. The family then lived on Cross Street, Wavertree. [3] He died very soon afterwards [4] and was buried on the 28th August 1884 in Toxteth Park Cemetery, Liverpool. [1]
