  • In 1870, Juan Aragon, age 26, a farmer; lived in Trinidad, Las Animas, Colorado Territory, with his wife, Maria Teodora Aragon, age 23; and their children: Maria Librada Aragon, age 6; Marcelino Aragon, age 4; and Juan W. Aragon, age 1-month old.[4]
  • In 1880, Juan B. Aragon, age 37, a farmer; lived in Las Animas, Colorado, with his wife, Teodora Aragon, age 27; and their children: Librada Aragon, age 12; Marcelino Aragon, age 10; Juan N. Aragon, age 8; Marcelina Aragon, age 7; and Telesforo Aragon, age 2.[5]
  • In 1885, Juan B. Aragon, age 43; lived in Las Animas, Colorado, with his wife, Teodora L. Aragon, age 42; and their children: Juan N. Argon, age 15; Sabino Aragon, age 5; and Felix Aragon, age 2.[6]

Research Notes

  • Juan B. Aragon's name appeared in the 1910 US Census, but was not listed again in any Census thereafter. Also, in the 1920 US Census, his wife listed herself as a widow. So it is presumed that he died sometime before 1920.
