Jane Archer married Matthew Sheils on 27 January 1823 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.[2][3]
Jane and Matthew had one son:
Matthew Archer Shiels (1826-1909).
In 1841, Jane, her husband Matthew, and their son Matthew, were living at Canongate where Matthew was a "confectioner".[1]
Jane Sheils, nee Archer, died of "Decline" at age 51 at Abbeyhill, Edinburgh, Scotland in 1844. She was buried at the Calton Burial Ground on 18 July 1844.[4]
