Biography

Emma was born in 1870 in Eden in Erie County, New York, the daughter of Martin Arlen Jr and Magdalena Heinrich (or Henry). She grew up on the family farm there and in about 1897 at age 27, she married Albert George Minekime. She joined him on his farm in Eden, and they had five children together, one of whom died in infancy. Her husband Albert died in 1948 in Eden, and Emma passed away two years later in 1950.
