Biography

Thomas Armstrong was born on February 01, 1833 in Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland. His parents were William Armstrong and Mary Edgerton.Christened on 8 Feb 1833 at Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland[1]

Arrived in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 27 September 1839 on ship Royal Admiral with his parents and siblings. as Bounty immigrants. The two younger siblings, William and Mary, died on the voyage. [2]

He married Elizabeth Davis on October 27, 1860 Together they had 12 children:
