Louie Arnold was born in Hillsboro and moved to Whitney as a child. He married Miss Maude Halford in 1924.
After farming 18 years, Mr. Arnold became city marshall of Whitney and held that post for two years. He was a Hill County deputy sheriff for one year and a member of the Hillsboro police force seven years, and was former Hillsboro chief of police. He had been Chief of police at Whitney for the last four months of his life.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Methodist Church.
