Rachel ATKINS, 1794-1827, was daughter of Robert Yedell ATKINS, 1772-1816, and of his wife, Jane BARNETT, 1776-1852;
Rachel ATKINS, 1794-1827, married October 1, 1814, Newberry County, South Carolina, Abner Elias TEAGUE,1789-1871, son of Elijah Arnold TEAGUE, 1767-1843, and of his wife, Sarah 'Sally' MORGAN, 1768-1850;
To this marriage between Abner Elias TEAGUE, 1789-1871 and his first wife, Rachel ATKINS, 1794-1827, these children are known:
son, Robert G. TEAGUE, born June 24, 1815, died May 4, 1892;
daughter, Lurana TEAGUE, born October 21, 1817, died September 1864;

Rachel Teague death is listed in the biography as being Calhoun county, Alabama but the Find A Grave cited list her death as Lowndes County, Alabama - which is correct as Lowndes county does not adjoin Calhoun county. It is approximately 180 miles from Lowndes county to Calhoun county so it is doubtful she died in one county and was buried in another county 180 miles away, given the time to travel by horse and buggy.
