Laurent was born 1788 in Varennes, Verchères, Lower Canada (Québec), the son of Laurent Lapointe and Charlotte Chicot. [1]
Laurent married Sophie Besset in Marieville, Québec, Canada.[2]
He died about 1832 and was buried 20 August 1832 at St-Nom-de-Marie and Ste-Marie-de-Monnoir; Marieville, Québec, Canada. [3]
