In the 1880 census Phillip (age 60), Presbyterian Minister, was the married father-in-law of Jno Rush in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States.[5]
Philip was a minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also associated with his son, on the Stockman, a prominent Pittsburgh stock paper.[1]
Philip passed away on 3 Sep 1897 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and was buried at Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.[6][7]
