Homer Hamilton Babb July 21st, 1917 to December 8th, 1988 1st Cousin x3 Removed Babb Side. United States Army Captain he was drafted on April 1st, 1942 at Ft Bragg, North Carolina SN: 34257519 he was promoted to TEC5 on June 2nd, 1942 and to TEC4 on August 3rd, 1942 and on October 19th, 1942 he qualified as a Marksman with the M1 Rifle as a TEC4 he was sent to OCS at Mississippi State College where upon completion of OCS he was Honorably Discharged to accept a 2LT Commission on March 30th, 1943 he was then commissioned as a Officer on March 31st, 1943 Officer SN: 0-1944907 he was in the Transportation Corps serving with the Headquarters of the Communication Zone of the European Theater as a Administrative Officer he deployed overseas on June 1st, 1943 and arrived on June 6th, 1943 and after 1 year 8 months and 28 days overseas he shipped home on February 15th, 1945 and arrived on February 28th, 1945 and he was Honorably Discharged on October 22nd, 1945 at Fitzsimons General Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
