Biography
Ruth was born in 1779 in Baltimore Co., MD, and was married there to Andrew Gore. She was the daughter of Morris Baker and Elizabeth Dorsey. She passed away in 1833 in Harrodsburg, Mercer Co., KY.
There is controversy as to whether this Ruth was married first to an Edward Wells, before marrying Andrew Gore. A Ruth Baker Wells, heir of Morris Baker of Tyler Co., VA/WV, signed a document while living in Hopewell, Washington County, PA.
